A Few Updates

Life here has gotten into a repetitive groove.  It's not a bad thing, well sort of.  I do the same thing, every day.  I wake up, go to work, come home at 12:30, eat lunch, and then do something to keep me busy.  It can be cross stitching, diamond art, reading, scripture studying, reading conference talks, watching shows, baking, cleaning, laundry...but there is only so much you can do of all of that before you go crazy.  I have projects started all over the place. Here are some of them...

I stated this tradition for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I have table clothes for each holiday and I have everyone who is there sign their name. I then cross stitch it.  I have Thanksgivings here with me, because we celebrate it here!

One of the books I'm reading, notice the book mark Leonie gave me! :)  She got it because it's pink, says Jesus, and she knows I love to read! I'm also trying a new Halloween cross stitch. I am a beginner, and this design requires a lot of different stitches I'm not familiar with so I'm having to google them!

My diamond art painting of the Salt Lake Temple.

The teacher in me is coming out...I made a picture wall above my desk at work to give me something happy to look at instead of a dirty while wall.

We are creating an office for our consultants and guests that come to the office so I made this wall to make it seem "nicer"

I have my polaroid printer here and I made a picture wall of everyone working.  Everyone always stops to see the new additions and loves to see themselves!

Friday evening, Darius and Leonie came over to visit and talk on the patio.  We decided we didn't want to cook dinner, but didn't want to drive anywhere and fight traffic so we had Lattelicous deliver.  I got the Tornado Wrap and chicken, avocado, tomato, lettuce and chili mayo...YUMMY! Cory and Darius got cheeseburgers, and Leonie got pasta with alfredo, chicken and mushroom.  It was nice to sit around, eat and visit!
