The Pond....Pool!

When we got back from Utah, Nathan, Sisca's nannies son, came to "Uncle Cory" and told him there are frogs living in the pool! We went to take a look and the pool had turned into a pond!!  They had turned to filter off while they were gone and the stagnate water had turned a nice shade of green.  Like I said earlier, Nathan loves learning new things so Cory decided to enlist his help in draining the pool, pressure washing it, and filling it back up!  Nathan was eager to learn!

The Before...

They started draining it and Cory taught Nathan how to use the brush to clean the sides. Izzy is in the pink skirt! She is such a sweet heart!

In the end...there was one frog sucked up in the drain (he made it out) and many tadpoles that were washed away!  The amount of sludge at the bottom is disgusting!

Nathan was excited to use learn how to use the pressure washer but eventually his hand got tired and Cory took over!

Nathan was fascinated by how deep the pool was!

We started the filling up process and the kids had fun sitting on the edge of an empty pool!  While this was happening, Izzy and I were sitting on the porch talking.  She asked me if she could ask me questions about our church, she didn't want to offend me!  I told her, ask away! The first thing she asked me if we believed in Jesus Christ.  That opened up a two hour discussion about what we believe in.  She told me she is grateful for The Church because she went to the stake center and that is where she learned English.  She also said it was because of the church that she met us and Sisca and Morne and her life is better.

The final result!!
Sisca was so grateful for a clean pool when she returned.
