Morning Commute

 

The commute in the morning has gotten way busier now that school has started.  We leave the house at 6:15 instead of 6:40.  This morning there was backup that was unusual and once we got close to the round about, we found the culprit.  A jeep had lost a wheel and was parked diagonal in the street blocking traffic.  We had to pull into the gas station and go around it.  It boggles my mind that they just leave it there, blocking traffic instead of moving it off the street. 

Since Cory just dropped me off at the office and then he was heading to the yard to continue putting together the batch plant, I was able to get a picture of the man hole in front of the driveway.  Just on this street alone, there are 3 man holes without lids.  On the main highway headed home there are 2 we pass.  Cory said, if we were able to get up to a normal travel speed and your car hit that, it would rip off your driveline.  While backing out of the office compound, we have hit this particular one, once.  It is a mess!
