From Busy To Not So Busy

I have always worked full time.  Since I was a freshman in college, I started working full time and did so until 2022.  I like being busy, not too busy, but busy enough that my mind doesn't have time to wander!  Well, I am not busy here.  I'm working part time hours (and it's slow right now waiting for supplies and equipment) hence the blogging.  I have also started some other projects I'll get to at a later date.

I love having a paper planner, not a digital one.  It's kind of a form of journal for me.  I went from having it look like this...

to looking like this!

I have even resorted to writing in "nails" and "hair" even though it is me that is doing it!  I have a theory on this.  I quit teaching in 2022 because we were supposed to be heading out to DRC that September.  Well, we all know that didn't happen so I spent the year working at the Payson Temple in the Brides Room whenever I could take shifts and subbing elementary school.  I was able to do the teaching and be around the kids but I didn't have to deal with the extra stuff. I loved it.  I was able to go on vacation and not have to make sub plans...a dream!

Looking back, I think it was the Lord's way of preparing me for what I would be in for here.  If I went straight from working full time to this, I would go crazy!  Having a year to adjust to down time helped me prepare for what I will be up against the next 3 years.
