Sunday

Last Sunday, it was Relief Society.  The lesson was on President Eyring's talk Finding personal Peace.  One of the sister missionaries is from Ghana and speaks English so she sat by me and translated.  It was the perfect lesson for me.  I'm not going to lie, it is tough here.  I cry almost every day, out of sadness, frustration, homesickness...all the reasons.  BUT...it is getting better.  When I reread this talk and some of the scriptures, I was reminded "The Savior knows that all of Heavenly Father's children yearn for peace, and He said that He could give it to us", So daily, I turn to my Father in Heaven and pray for peace and patients and strength.

This stone building is where our Relief Society is held in.

The mission home is in our ward and so we have a TON of missionaries come to church.  This week there were almost double the amount because a new batch came in and they were going to be leaving to their areas on Monday.  The missionary in front posing, is from Zimbabwe and he speaks English! Behind him, under the canopy is the baptism font, I will need to get a better picture of is but it's just a big, blue metal tub with stairs leading up to it.

Our highlight today was getting to face time with Kaylee, Aaron and the puppies.  I screen shot one of them with Kaylee in it but she probably wouldn't be happy with me posting it so I'll put on Moqui's!
