Puzzle, Lebanese Food and Games

Saturday Cory didn’t go into work, he stayed back at the house and hung curtain rods…one step closer to having privacy 🙌🏼. About a week ago, Cory bought me a puzzle because he thought I would love it. I love Starry Night and puzzles but when the two meet, it’s maddening!

While Cory was hanging curtain rods, I started the puzzle, where ALL the pieces are either a shade of blue or shade of yellow. He ended up joining me and we separated the pieces by shade of color and then some of them by shape.

At 12:30 we met Ragheb, our Lebanese co-worker and he took us out for Lebanese food. Now, we all know Cory's pallet is that of a toddler, so we were a little worried but we were pleasantly surprised! It was delicious!

Our appetizer’s… the ones on the left were ground beef with seasoning (like meatloaf) wrapped in yummy bread and then you drizzle lemon over it!

We also got hummus with tortillas and veggies.

Ragheb ordered for us and he basically got us the sampler plate, a little bit of everything. There was chicken (SO good), steak, and ground beef. Then they put tortillas with a chili sauce spread on them and you wrap the meat, sliced tomatoes, a garlic Mayo sauce, and the onions & herbs in the tortilla…DELICIOUS! They also gave us hummus and French fries!

On the way home we passed a shoe sale on the side of the street!  They have plenty of black and white shoes for sale.

That night we went over to Sam & Amelia’s house and taught them how to play Phase 10…it was fun to have a game night! Sam is very competitive!
